A new study by Stanford University reveals that one in 25 adults sleepwalks. Previous studies suggested the number was around one in 50. Other findings:


- when childhood sleepwalking was included in the study findings, the number of people, who have walked in their sleep, jumps to 29%

- 80% of those, who sleepwalk have done so for more than five years and a third have a family history of the disorder.

- those with depression are 3.5 times more likely to sleepwalk than those without depression

- 18% of men find first kisses the most awkward aspect of dating.

A new study by the Universite de Bretagne-Sud, France reveals that 66% of customers are more likely to leave a tip if waitresses are wearing red lipstick. Researchers studied 450 transactions and found waitresses wearing pink or brown lipstick were tipped only 30% of the time. That number rose when they wore red lips. Researchersconcluded that red lips are 'associated with an indication of estrogen levels, sexual arousal and health'.

19% said in their sock.
17% said there’s no good place to keep their cash inside the home.

11% stash their cash under the mattress.

10% keep their cash in the cookie jar.

A new survey by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants reveals that 30% of adults, who are married or living with a partner, are committing some form of financial infidelity, including hiding purchases and splurging on big-ticket items. Other findings:

- 7% of people have kept a work bonus or lottery winnings under wraps

- 4% of people have a secret savings or retirement account

- 4% of people have secretly withdrawn a significant amount from a joint account

  • 27% of those, who are married or living with a partner, fight about money more than any other issue, including children and work.

75% of pet owners say the poor economy hasn't affected how much money they spend on their pets. Other findings from a new survey by CouponCabin.com:

- 21% of people regularly spend between $51 and $100 a month on their pets.

- 26% of pet owners put their pets' health care needs before their own.

- 35% of pet owners spend less on their friends than they do on their pets.

- 32% of pet owners spend less on their family than they do on their pets

- 22% of pet owners spend less on themselves than they do on their pets.

Here's another sign that you should worry about the moral compass of America's youth: They're okay with . . . double dipping. Asurvey by T.G.I. Friday's found that 67% of people under age 35 say it's fine to bit a chip, and then put it back in the dip for a second helping. Only 28% of people over age 55 are okay with it.
